“Gifts from the heart” Toy Drive

The “Gifts from the heart” toy distribution was a success Neighborhood House was able to provide a Christmas gift to 675 children in our community. This drive was possible thanks to the support of local agencies businesses and individuals.

Children Christmas Store

Every Year Neighborhood House of Calexico, Inc., opens its doors to approximately 100 children, providing them to opportunity to buy a Christmas gift for their families and friends. In this store everything sells for 25 cents or less.

Thanksgiving Day Luncheon

The thanksgiving day luncheon serves a warm and traditional Thanksgiving Day meal to approximately 700 individuals in need. This event is held at the Calexico Community Center on Thanksgiving Day from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Funds for this event come from local businesses and individual donations. Additionally, around 100 volunteers, prepare and serve the meals.
