Sessions offer parents tips on ways to encourage school readiness through Early Literacy. Tips are based on each unique case.

Parent And Child Together Time (PACT Time) Activity

Parents and their children work together using creativity- and imagination-building tools provided by caseworkers. Activities directly correlate with the book assigned to each session.

Parent Education

Parents are educated on:

  • Non-verbal  communication
  • Family dynamics
  • Nutrition
  • Among other topics are discussed during the sessions.

Each session has a different subject matter, providing varied information depending on the topic of the week. Each session and topic is tailored to your family and need.

In completing the six session sequence, children are rewarded with an “Imagination is Reading” Kit which includes a book, crayons, scissors, and craft supplies, along with a certificate of completion.
