Neighborhood House of Calexico, Inc. serves the Imperial Valley region, with a specific focus on the needs of low-income women and children.

Thanks to the generous support of the community, Calexico Neighborhood House is able to provide direct services to much of the community. We offer specific thanks to individuals, organizations, and collaborative partners who continue to help make our services available to the community through participatory or monetary support.

Mission Statement

Calexico Neighborhood House aims to meet the needs of disadvantaged groups within Imperial Valley through various service programs and community empowerment.

History and Background

CNH has been operating continuously as a community center and social services agency since 1938 and was initially established as a settlement house to assist and work with residents of the border community.

A product of the Global Ministries of the United Methodist Women, Calexico Neighborhood House provides a comprehensive array of direct services in the areas of childcare for working parents, case management, parent education, shelter for homeless women and children, emergency food and utility assistance, micro business support and community advocacy.
